Hanna Gaffney, Acting Coach
Actor-singer-dialect coach-teaching artist
Hanna Gaffney is a professional actor and teaching artist in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated with a BFA in Acting from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and moved to Philadelphia shortly after graduation. As an actor she most recently worked with 11th Hour Theatre Company on their World Premiere production of Big Red Sun written by John Jiler and Georgia Stitt. She has worked with several companies as a teaching artist including the Wolf Performing Arts Center as an Electives Counselor, Theatre Horizon as a director and teaching artist for their Summer Camps, Delaware Theatre Company as a teaching artist and actor for their Young Playwrights Festival, and Chester County Arts as a teacher in Special Effects Makeup. She has also worked in Wisconsin as a monologue coach and guest artist with the Oconomowoc High School. Hanna has been teaching in conjunction with The Souls Song LLC for about 4 years now, and it is her favorite company to come back to and coach! While she spends most of her time as an actor in Philadelphia with companies such as Resident Theatre Company, Hedgerow Theatre Company, Arden Theatre Company, and Opera Philadelphia she does love the time when she is able to work with students to help them grow and challenge themselves in preparation for auditions, competitions, or just the ability to approach life with confidence and imagination.
